About 2 years ago I was at my friend's house, drinking a cup of wine and we had a conversation about how I was feeling a little down for not knowing what kind of designer I wanted to be. She then insisted that I should become an illustrator as she had seen a few pieces of my work and thought that I had the potential to be an illustrator or even an artist. She was the first one to believe in me and my work and gave me unconditional support throughout our time in university. I have been working hard since then so I could become the best illustrator possible and as a thank you, I dedicated this piece to my friend and to one of my favourite artists: Jean-Michael Basquiat, as without them, I would not be the illustrator that I am today.
